Pioneering documentary filmmaker Mal Leyland is headed back on the road for Studio 10.
Leyland, who fronted Ask The Leyland Brothers with his brother Mike from 1976 – 1980, will be a “grey nomad” travel presenter for the 10 morning show.
Both Leyland Brothers received an MBE for services to the film industry in 1980.
Mike Leyland passed away in 2009.

Great to see him back on TV, such fond memories of that show and the theme song.
So sad to hear his wife Lorraine passed away six months ago. It is obviously still very raw for him, but he held it together, if he had cried I would have been a blubbering mess.
… wonder if he’ll be shooting his stories on 8mm film like Ask The Leyland Brothers?
