Nine News reporter Seb Costello has apologised after jostling with Seven News reporter Sharnelle Vella outside a Melbourne court.
According to the Herald Sun Costello allegedly collided with Vella outside Melbourne as journalists crowded around Georgia May Gibson, who had just been cleared of sharing an explicit video of ex-footballer Dane Swan.
Costello told ABC radio, “I should have had more awareness and I’ve apologised for that.
“And I am sorry I wish it didn’t happen like that.
“Sometimes in the middle of covering stories you kind of lose your sense of where you are because you get a bit blinkered and that happened this morning.”
Sharnelle Vella told the Herald Sun: “Seb apologised and that’s the end of it”.

I don’t know why they bother shoving microphones in people’s face as they leave court. They’re not going to say anything so why bother..
Ah the old “they’re probably guilty so let’s form a media scrum and chase them down the street”.
Seven Breaking News: A sickening crash has occurred outside the courts this morning.
Police are still to rule out terrorism. We cross live to our expert panel located across the road.
Is it just me? Why is this news, two people bumping into each other. Journalists don’t seem to have a problem getting into someone’s personal space when its a story.
slow news day lol
Great I will knock off and start the weekend!
Maybe it could be seen as an example of the rather silly reality TV style of journalism that has crept into the media in recent times especially on commercial news shows, any publicity is good publicity after all.
