Netflix has released a teaser for Martin Scorsese movie The Irishman.

His latest gangster epic features Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci.

The cast also includes Harvey Keitel, Ray Romano, Bobby Cannavale, Anna Paquin, Stephen Graham, Stephanie Kurtzuba, Jack Huston, Kathrine Narducci, Jesse Plemons, Domenick Lombardozzi, Paul Herman, Gary Basaraba, Marin Ireland.

It will screen in coming months.

Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci star in Martin Scorsese’s The Irishman, an epic saga of organised crime in post-war America told through the eyes of World War II veteran Frank Sheeran, a hustler and hitman who worked alongside some of the most notorious figures of the 20th Century. Spanning decades, the film chronicles one of the greatest unsolved mysteries in American history, the disappearance of legendary union boss Jimmy Hoffa, and offers a monumental journey through the hidden corridors of organized crime: its inner workings, rivalries and connections to mainstream politics.

  1. I own pretty much every movie Scorsese and De Niro have done together so this is a must watch for me. I just assumed it would be a cinema release given the pedigree involved so I’m pleasantly surprised to see it will be on Netflix.

  2. I see Scorsese will be touching on the JFK legend, so I’m sure a few learned people of 60’s American history folklore will be tuning in. Plenty of producers for the production but the bulk of this marathon movies obvious mega budget must be Netflix money, so this gangster drama will have to be getting a release on multi format DVD to get some money back. I hope Scorsese hasn’t broke Netflix’s bank.
