Apple+ has released a full trailer for The Morning Show (that other morning show) starring Jennifer Aniston, Steve Carell, Reese Witherspoon and Billy Crudup.

The plot, based on Brian Stelter’s book Top of the Morning: Inside the Cutthroat World of Morning TV, looks to have shades of a Matt Lauer-style downfall and an All About Eve rise for Witherspoon’s character.

Pricing for Apple TV+, due later this year, is yet to be announced.

What happens when the people you trust to tell the truth prove themselves to be dishonest? The Morning Show follows the free fall of an early morning newscast in the wake of a scandal, and its struggle to survive in an era when news arrives in the palm of your hand. The Morning Show stars Academy Award winner Reese Witherspoon, Emmy winner Jennifer Aniston and Golden Globe winner Steve Carell in a high-stakes drama that pulls back the curtain on the morning news.

    Also, they’re calling it Morning Wars in Australia to distinguish it from The Morning Show that’s after Sunrise. I prefer the original title…
