Talking Married the 9Life companion show to Married at First Sight is not returning in 2020.
The series presented by Jayne Azzopardi and Shelly Horton has screened for two years and drawn surprisingly strong ratings and even broken records for 9Life.
Nine would not be drawn on the reasons it will not return but sources suggest it was not always easy to wrangle Reality TV contestants. Last year Jess & Dan infamously even appeared to break up on air.
A Nine spokesperson told Daily Mail: “We can confirm that Talking Married will not air in 2020.”
Shooting for the 2020 season of MAFS is currently underway.

Shelly Horton was all wrong for the show. She always comes off a bit try hard…
This is so stupid. It was constantly 1st in the multi channels ratings. So stupid of 9 honestly. Even just have the hosts chatting and no guests if its that hard.
What an idiotic decision. It should have been on the main channel following the main show and it could have boosted Nine’s share even further.
It had no busness being on another channel.
Time for MAFS to go. Nine need to come out and say that we are going to support positive TV and dump MAFS forever. Needs to happen.
Not a chance
Not going to happen with the massive ratings it achieves. They’ll only dump it if people decide to stop watching.
how very dare you cancel my favourite guilty pleasure cast with social media wannabes who certainly are in it for the publicity.
Trash tv never lasts.
