SBS delays Hungry Ghosts to 2020
A third local drama due in 2019 is now pushed back to next year.

Another local drama has been delayed to 2020, this time Hungry Ghosts on SBS.
The series, produced by Matchbox Pictures features Clare Bowen, Bryan Brown, Catherine Văn-Davies, Justine Clark and Ryan Corr. It centres around three generations of Vietnamese Australian families, all haunted by the traumatic events of war. Filming was recently completed in Melbourne and Queensland.
It joins Seven’s Between Two Worlds and an expected delay for Doctor Doctor, all shifting from 2019 to 2020.
SBS advised it would screen early next year.
