Wife Swap reboot pushed to 2020

Another show announced for 2019 is delayed.

Seven has delayed another 2019 show to 2020.

A reboot of Wife Swap Australia, announced at last year’s annual Upfronts, is produced by Screentime. It previously screened on Foxtel.

Filming is understood to have taken place earlier this year.

The mother of all social experiments is getting a facelift! Two women from two very different families swap their homes and lives for two weeks. But in this brand new reboot, the drama is intensified – with visits from the mothers- in-law and bombshells being dropped, these families are going to get a lot more than they bargained for. Wife Swap is a Screentime production for Channel Seven.

Seven has already pushed Between Two Worlds to 2020, but is enthused about the completed episodes.

Another season of Bride & Prejudice is also understood to be on the way, but has never been announced for 2019.

  1. Seven have obviously raised the white flag in regards the ratings for this year , plus it looks better for the new CEO if the network comes out firing for 2020 with new content …and hopefully improved ratings !
