Anne Aly, one of my fave politicians, class and intelligence personified.
I recall an episode of Q&A last year that had Hon. Linda Reynolds CSC as one of the panellists. She asked Tony Jones why Q&A hadn’t been to Western Australia for several years. Tony Jones replied “You might have to increase our funding just a little bit”.
Is it 6 or 7 years since Q and A have been to Western Australia. A very expensive send off for Tony Jones needing all of his support staff to fly with him especially during ABC financial cutbacks I wonder what Ita thinks ??
The last report on Q&A called for the show to spend more time out of Sydney. Being in WA is a good thing, long overlooked. I guess a case of damned if you do / don’t. And there is more to come.
