On Hiatus

TV Tonight enters summer Hiatus mode.

It’s been a busy few weeks lately but now that Upfronts and Survey Ratings have ended, TV Tonight enters summer Hiatus mode.

This means the site will publish morning news posts from Monday to Friday. There will be limited posts on weekends.

Please note there will be some delays, including for Comments, Ratings and Calendar -your patience is appreciated during this time.

There are still features, interviews and reviews to be published over this period.

Voting will also get underway shortly for the 13th TV Tonight Awards!

Don’t forget the Twitter feed @tvtonightau for other news updates.

thanks, David.

  1. Hi David – thank you for another great year and all your hard work which is very much appreciated every day. Wishing you a Happy Christmas and I hope you enjoy your well deserved “break”.

  2. Many thanks guys. Still more news to work through and stories to write. It’s actually been suggested to me I pause the site completely between Xmas – NY to take advantage of a true break. Haven’t done it in 13 years but giving it some thought!

    1. I also think this is a good idea. You deserve it. But what’s the chances the year ends with the biggest story of all time breaking during that time.

  3. Thanks for keeping us well informed David. Without you and (your followers) I would have missed out on TV news, new shows, returning shows, bumped shows and my ‘Joy’ DVD. So enjoy your hiatus and have a ‘JOYful’ festive season.

  4. Happy holidays, David and hope you have a lovely Christmas.
Thanks for another entertaining and informative year of TVT and all the hard work you put into this wonderful site.

  5. I don’t know, the ratings period ends and people think they can take time off!?! (ha ha)
As always I appreciate all your hard work! Thanks once again for keeping us up to date for all things TV and streaming. Best Wishes for the festive season.

  6. Enjoy your well deserved break David, and thanks for keeping us all so well informed in what has been a busy year on TV. Your work is very much enjoyed and appreciated.

  7. David, thank you once again for a fantastic year. All of us on this website would be lost without you. We all appreciate the hard work that you do on keeping us informed on all things TV wise. You deserve your break once again, eventhough you’re still posting info for us. From me wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Bring on 2020.?????
