Renewed: Batwoman, The Flash, Legacies, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, Roswell New Mexico

US action titles on FOX8 get the greenlight for more.

The CW has renewed a string of its shows for new seasons in the US.

Titles which screen on Foxtel include:

Batwoman (S2)
The Flash (S7)
Legacies (S3)
Legends of Tomorrow (S6)
Supergirl (S6)
Roswell, New Mexico (S3)

These are in addition to Riverdale, All American, Black Lightning, Dynasty, In the Dark, Charmed and Nancy Drew.

“These early orders for next season give our production teams a head start in plotting out story arcs and a jump on hiring staff, and this also provides us with a strong foundation of established, fan-favorite CW shows to build on for next season,” The CW president Mark Pedowitz said in a statement. “We’ve been thrilled with the creative direction of all three new series, and even though we are in the very early stages of our new full stack streaming strategy, which allows viewers to catch up on our new shows from the beginning, we’re already seeing incredibly positive results from our multiplatform viewership for Nancy Drew and Batwoman.”

The only series yet to receive a formal pickup is Riverdale spinoff Katy Keene, which is set to premiere in the US in February and coming to FOX8.

Arrow, Supernatural and The 100 are all concluding in 2020.

  1. Surely The Flash has only a season or two left in it? I have enjoyed Arrow more than the last few seasons knowing it has an endgame. It was time.

    1. Supernatural had an amazing period of success, the main actors in CW’s hit shows like The Flash are still young enough to sign up for another five seasons, keeping a contract would be important to them. I’m sure CW will keep the production line going for The Flash, Supergirl, and Legends of Tomorrow, while money is to be made.
