Passionate about inspiring a whole new generation of animal enthusiasts, Coyote, host of popular Brave Wilderness YouTube channel (15.5M subscribers), travels around the world, including Australia, to share his incredible experiences with the most fascinating, bizarre, and iconic animals on Earth.

In Coyote Peterson: Brave the Wild, Coyote brings the animal kingdom up close for the next wave of explorers in an entertaining way, while promoting conversation and welfare for the natural world. Together with wildlife biologist Mario Aldecoa and his crew, Coyote shares their breathtaking adventures with Animal Planet viewers. No matter the location, his mission remains the same: to get up close and uncover the secrets of creatures that are often misunderstood or feared. Every animal has a story, and Coyote braves the wild to tell it.

This season takes Coyote to Brazil where he encounters the Yacare Caiman, a cousin of the crocodile, and swims alongside the animal to study its perfect-predator behaviour as jaguars and capybara lurk from the shoreline; and the swamplands of Texas to search for a giant alligator snapping turtle known as Raphael, among other destinations.

Coyote also spends a lot of time in Australia, where people think everything can kill you! He heads to Tasmania’s Devil Ark conservatory to reveal the history behind the critically endangered Tasmanian devil and the manpower needed to conserve this species; tackles hostile outback landscapes in search of the elusive perentie – the largest, strongest and fastest monitor lizard in Australia; gets up close to some of the most toxic marine creatures including the blue-ringed octopus and stonefish in tidal pools along the Sunshine Coast, and more.
