Renewed: Plebs. Axed: Timewasters

British comedy Plebs was recently renewed for a sixth season, according to reports.

The period drama depicts Tom Rosenthal, Ryan Sampson and Jon Pointing as 20-somethings living in ancient Rome.

All are expected to return. The series screens in Australia on ABC Comedy.

Meanwhile time-travel sitcom Timewasters, is ending at two seasons.

Exploring the experiences of black people living in Britain at different points during the 20th Century, it starred Daniel Lawrence Taylor, Adelayo Adedayo, Samson Kayo and Kadiff Kirwan.

It screened in Australia through iview.
