Bumped: Footy Classified

Put it down to less AFL chat, perhaps.... as Nine moves show back in the schedule.

Put this down to a lack of AFL news perhaps, but Nine is pushing back Footy Classified to a later slot in the schedule.

In Melbourne Monday’s Footy Classified screens at 10:45pm following Informer 3838, but in Perth & Adelaide it will be 11;15pm following Nine News Late (which now drops the word COVID from view).

On Wednesday Footy Classified moves from 9:30pm to 10:30pm in Melbourne, but to 11pm in Adelaide & Perth following News.

In Sydney & Brissy 9GEM times are 1:30am Tuesday (ouch) and 11:05pm Wednesday.

By contrast Seven isn’t screening The Front Bar at all -which actually rates higher.

  1. The Front Bar screened a few episodes earlier in the year but didn’t have the magic without a studio audience or the game itself to talk about.

I get frustrated with Footy Classified being on so late already now it’s worse!

  2. It’s a shame as I’ve heard a lot of great buzz about this show (mostly on this site).

Looks like Eddie and Caroline, don’t mind social distancing at all in this case.

  3. To be fair I’ve never really got into this show, but I must say this season I dislike everyone who’s on the panel, so it wouldn’t matter what time it’s shown, or if footy was being played, I would still avoid it altogether. Don’t get me wrong, i’m wrapped all these people are on the one show, it’s like having all the bad eggs in one basket, so you just need to avoid the one basket!

      1. Isn’t she great?! I love the fact CW just cuts straight to it, backs herself and comes across as one of the most engaging footy journalists out there. I have loved her and Eddie battle it out this year

      2. She probably does, she’s a good journalist. My gripe with her goes back to the Essendon scandal and James Hird in particular. She just kept going after him and I didn’t feel it was warranted. It seemed almost personal.
