iview Comedy binge

ABC Easter comedy binge includes new seasons and a new UK comedy written by Sharon Horgen.

Over Easter iview will offer a range of ABC replays as part of a Comedy binge, but it also features a new Free to Air title: Motherland series 1 and 2 (co-written by Sharon Horgan) and new seasons of coming-of-age comedy Young Offenders, Karl Pilkington’s Sick of It, and Live from the BBC.

A variety of comedy treats to keep viewers entertained include Live From The BBC (series 2) showcasing some of the best new British comedy talent, filmed in the iconic Radio Theatre in London. This series features an unbeatable line-up of budding superstars, including Lou Sanders (Travel Man), Sara Pascoe and Josie Long.

Make a date to watch Sharon Horgen’s hilarious social satire Motherland (series 1 & 2), a show all about navigating the trials and traumas of middle-class motherhood, looking at the competitive and unromantic sides of parenting – not the cute and acceptable public face of motherhood. Stars Anna Maxwell Martin, Lucy Punch, Diane Morgan, Paul Ready, Philippa Dune.

Karl Pilkington returns in Sick Of It (series 1 & 2), the critically acclaimed tragi-comedy about a middle-aged man haunted by the voice inside his head as he lurches from one existential crisis to another. Also stars Sondra James and Marama Corlett.

The-coming-of-age adventures of lovable rogues and best pals Conor and Jock continue in The Young Offenders (series 2). Life’s a breakneck rollercoaster when you’re having as much fun as these two. Stars Alex Murphy, Chris Walley and Hilary Rose.

From Friday April 10 on iview.
