Will & Grace feud: “Not an easy year”

Creators respond to rumours of tension between two leading ladies...

Will & Grace creators have given an interview to Entertainment Weekly in which they discuss the recent series finale.

They were also asked about rumours of tension between Debra Messing and Megan Mullally (the latter stepped away from several episodes this season).

Co-creator Max Mutchnick said, “We always work under this kind of motto that everything’s about the work. It’s just about the work. And so if we stay true to that, then we just keep you guys out of whatever happened on the set this year because it would have done nothing but get in the way of the stories that we wanted to tell.

“It was not an easy year, but the permanent legacy of the show is much more important to us than any temporary squabble that would take place on the stage.”

  1. It’s best to let sleeping dogs lie ,alot of shows have comeback and the love is gone ,it would be like friends or even TBBT they’ve had their day and in many cases had already overstayed their welcome.

  2. I watched the season finale on the weekend, and it was a complete fizzer. Not one laugh and not remotely entertaining, but more than anything was the awkwardness between the actors. They looked like four people who just didn’t want to be doing it anymore, which I suspect is the truth.

  3. Whatever it was that happened behind the scenes impacted the season that could be seen in each and every episode, sadly it wasn’t about the work in this final season.
