Airdate: Gold Telethon 2020

Nine’s annual Gold Telethon is the latest fundraising broadcast to be impacted by restrictions around COVID-19.

It is due to screen on Nine (Sydney) from 3pm Monday June 8th. That’s considerably shorter than last year’s starting time of 9am.

But COVID-19 restrictions make it difficult for personalities to gather in the studio and for camera crews to freely roam hospitals. Seven similarly trimmed down their Good Friday Appeal from a full day to just one hour in primetime.

Times are tough, but illnesses like cancer won’t stop for COVID-19 and neither will our healthcare heroes who care for them.

Now, more than ever before, we’re counting on the kindness and generosity of our supporters, to help raise critical funds for sick kids in Hospital.
