7mate is holding off plans to screen Housos vs Virus: The Lockdown and new local animation Regular Old Bogan.
Both had been due to screen “soon” on 7mate, but network sources advise both series are now held back until October.
This is due to various scheduling conflicts and potential AFL schedules.
AFL has flagged further possible weeknight games, as it reels from COVID-19 impact.

What a load of bs, I’ve been seeing promo material for ages about regular old bogan. I’ve even watched it on YouTube. Stuff the footy, if the covid situation is to blame then the footy shouldn’t be on anyway. 7 should get their act together. If they know about the delays then they should show the advertising when they are certain it will air.
Probably also good timing given the resurgence in cases and Victoria’s second lockdown
It may be a little off topic, but as 7Mate have played out all of The Simpsons 31st season is any of the current Wednesday evening animation line-up new episodes?
The 9pm American Dad! is still new

Can’t they move the AFL to 7two in NRL dominate states? Viewers need content like these two shows IMO, and it’ll bring in big ratings compared to AFL in Syd/Bris.
7 Mate have been advertising Regular Old Bogan for quite a while. Why can’t it be included as part of the Wednesday animation line-up?
