Dates are confirmed for the return of two big franchises to 10.
Studio 10 reports The Masked Singer is back on 7:30pm Monday August 10 in what will be a quick turnaround for the Melbourne production.
10 has already commenced its very engaging guessing game campaign…. with so many out of work performers, I would tip a strong cast for this one.
The Bachelor returns 7:30pm Wednesday August 12 with Locky Gilbert. This season has seen filming interrupted by the pandemic, but reportedly resuming with “Zoom dates” (I really hope not).
Both shows are produced by Warner Bros. Australia and likely to screen on multiple nights across 10’s week.

When is Family Feud likely to air?
Later this year.
I know that TMS is about 16 days away, but when does the season 3 finale of BIP go to air?
Not confirmed but I would pencil in Sunday 9th.
“broadcasting is an essential service” … I hope your tongue was firmly in your cheek when you wrote that!!! … “broadcasting” may well be “essential” in a pandemic, but I don’t think that would necessarily extend to people dressing up in frilly costumes and singing …
Yep. If restrictions were upped in Melbourne and I lived there, I’d be well annoyed if I was confined to my home yet production of an inane singing competition was allowed to continue.
If you’re confined to you your home, you’d probably be grateful for the return of one of the country’s top rating entertainment shows.
How long until they start producing The Masked Bachelor?
If its in Melbourne or Victoria then not long. The rest of the country: not any time soon.
Hi David
On the masked singer who get to choose who goes home if there’s no audience? Judges??
Unclear.
Do you think there could be a chance of the show (or, maybe, the unmasking segments) being live, to allow audiences at home to vote?
As 10 August is not too far away…
I really don’t think it’s feasible.
Oh, looks like 10 are having a separate audience based in Sydney, who will be voting…

Excellent, wasn’t expecting TMS until September at the earliest. Can’t wait!
The big question mark for me is if Melbourne moves to Stage 4 lockdown which could happen any day now would The Masked Singer be able to keep filming??
My hunch is yes, broadcasting is an essential service.
Producing this is not essential. There are plenty of other options available for people to be entertained with.
Don’t watch it then simple, lol.
My partner and I can’t wait for it to return
