Not every show is drifting out of Melbourne during Stage 4 restrictions.
TV Tonight can confirm Lego Masters will begin filming its third season on Monday, October 5.
Filming will again take place at Melbourne Showgrounds, adjacent to the MasterChef kitchen, also used by producers Endemol Shine Australia. Filming on Junior MasterChef has just been completed for 10.
Hamish Blake and Ryan “Brickman” McNaught are both returning for the series, which will film with COVID protocols.
By October 5 it is hoped Melbourne will be out of Stage 4 restrictions. Premier Daniel Andrews will announce his ‘road map’ on Sunday as to next changes.
Lego Masters will return to Nine in 2021.

Where were the first 2 seasons filmed? I was always under the impression they were filmed in Sydney. Pretty easy show to socially distance though which is an advantage.
Don’t worry I did some digging. Had no idea they were both filmed in Melbourne. 9 must not have made a song and and dance about that fact!
Glad to hear junior Masterchef completed, will be good to see that soon, hope it does well for 10, could even put it up against POO now that that has failed to fire.
Ok so Hot Seat can’t film new episodes in Melbourne Docklands studio so they’ve had to relocate but LEGO Masters can resume filming in Melbourne ? Something doesn’t add up.
The date is outside of Stage 4 restrictions (unless they are extended). Work was allowed under S3.
I suspect that the new Hot Seat filming in Brisbane is less to do with Stage 4 restrictions & more to do with Eddie McGuire wanting to be in Queensland for his work with the Collingwood FC. Hot Seat was originally going to film in Docklands a few weeks ago before the Masked Singer Outbreak (from memory they shared the same studio)
See original story.
Well, I hope Lego Masters doesn’t go down the same route as the Masked Singer! It would be much safer filming in Sydney….
Why there no guarantee anywhere …. Why should COV19 change what we do if we can help it …..
