Emma Alberici has taken to social media to acknowledge some ABC colleagues behind the camera who are also departing under redundancies.
She nodded to newsroom, business and ABC sales staff.
“I’ll take some time to rest & am exploring some exciting employment opportunities. I’ve got a book to finish writing too! For a final time, here’s a picture of me at the ABC with some of my trusted colleagues,” she added with a photo of some very silent Play School characters.
I‘d like to acknowledge the countless other long serving ABC staff who are not in front of the camera but who will also walk away after impressive work histories. Among those people are Susan O’Leary who worked on the very first episode of Lateline in 1990 as the show’s Director

And producer Glenn Trowbridge who has been a stalwart of the newsroom & often critical to the smooth delivery and function of the flagship 7pm TV bulletin

Emma seems to do a very good job of keeping her name ‘out there’.
