A trailer has dropped for Season 3 of Star Trek: Discovery.
It dropped as part of Star Trek Day as cast feature in online retrospective panels.
Alongside Sonequa Martin-Gree as Commander Burnham, season three includes Doug Jones (Commander Saru), Anthony Rapp (Lt. Commander Paul Stamets), Mary Wiseman (Ensign Sylvia Tilly), Wilson Cruz (Dr. Hugh Culber), David Ajala (Cleveland “Book” Booker) and Michelle Yeoh (Philippa Georgiou). New cast additions include Blu del Barrio and Ian Alexander, while Medium‘s Jake Weber is also spotted here.
The US return date is October 15.
Updated: Netflix has declined to comment if it will screen.

In the “Star Trek Day” panels list theres text that says “Streaming October 16 in 190 Countries on Netflix”.
Just in case you haven’t watched the second season, there is a big spoiler from the end of that season in the trailer.
Pressed play and it comes up ‘Video Unavailable’.
It’d suck if this goes to another streaming service.

Rumour has it that Netflix had not renewed their rights to the show
Yeah I heard that as well and with Star Trek: Picard and all the Star Trek Movies just coming on to Amazon Prime would not be surprised if Discovery lands there now.
