10 has confirmed the fate for a number of shows which were in limbo, including WAGs drama Playing for Keeps, which last aired in 2019.
“Playing for Keeps is not coming back,” Head of Programming Daniel Monaghan told TV Tonight.
But there is some hope for more of My Life is Murder, starring Lucy Lawless. The production is moving to New Zealand with 10 to have a second window after an Acorn TV premiere.
“We will still broadcast My Life is Murder. I don’t think it will be this year but if it is, it wouldn’t be much before the end of this year.”
There’s also no more for One Born Every Minute Australia or Trial by Kyle with the latter sounding like it was the host’s choice.
“He hates it. He talks about it on the radio. It’s not coming back. Just ask him! I really liked it and I like Kyle, but it’s not returning,” said Monaghan.
Grant Denyer hosted Celebrity Name Game is also not returning.

What a shame for Grant Denyer. I feel he is better suited to a panel / talk show away from the strictness of hosting reality tv. I hope something comes up for him with longevity like his time on Sunrise and Family Feud. Grant must have a podium finish when it comes to shows that didn’t fire ranging from Iron Chef to Game of Games to Dancing With The Stars. Fingers crossed for him!
Dam, I enjoyed Playing for Keeps and I was looking forward to seeing that storyline grow with Paige being shot at the end.
Sad I liked Playing for Keeps it ended on a cliffhanger but I understand season two didn’t rate well

Ha! I read as “airdate” not axed, and got excited about Playing for Keeps, while at the same time shocked by Celebrity Name Game… time to go back to specsavers I think…
I am guessing Family Feud will be axed soon as well
My life is murder was a good show so glad that will come back. The rest well lets just say best to leave them in the past.
