US picks up The Gloaming

2020 Stan mystery The Gloaming is getting a US screening after Starz picked up the Tassie series.

The series stars Emma Booth and Ewen Leslie as detectives who share a tragic past, investigating the brutal death of a woman.

It also featured Martin Henderson, Aaron Pedersen, Rena Owen, Josephine Blazier and Matt Testro.

The Gloaming was written and created by Victoria Madden (The Kettering Incident) as a co-production with Madden’s Sweet Potato Films and John Molloy’s 2 Johns Productions, ABC Signature, a division of Disney Television Studios.

While Starz notes it as a limited series, development was undertaken last year on a potential second season.
