Filming of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2021 : The Gala took place at The Palais in St. Kilda last night.

It marks an important turning point for comedians, after 2020 events were cancelled.

The Oxfam Gala will screen as two specials on ABC with Part 1 next Wednesday.

Wednesday 24 March (The Gala – part 1) at 9:30pm on ABC TV – with part 2 premiering exclusively on iview immediately following the television premiere. Part 2 will also be broadcast on Wednesday 31st March at 9:30pm on ABC TV.

The Opening Night Comedy Allstars Supershow will also screen across two nights in April.
