ABC: Tasmanian Election 2021

Primetime coverage begins at 6pm on Saturday with Guy Stayner, Antony Green and more.

ABC Tasmania and ABC News will be covering the state election this Saturday.

Michael Rowland will be in Tasmania to broadcast live from Constitution Dock in Hobart for News Breakfast (Friday) and Weekend Breakfast (Saturday).

Primetime coverage begins at 6pm AEST with Guy Stayner, Antony Green and more.

As the votes are cast and counted, join the state’s most trusted election team including ABC News Tasmania 7pm presenter Guy Stayner, AM presenter Sabra Lane, state political reporter Emily Baker, ABC Radio Hobart Mornings host Leon Compton and the ABC’s chief elections analyst Antony Green for the most comprehensive coverage from 6:00pm (AEST) on ABC TV (Tasmania), ABC NEWS channel and iview.

Joining the ABC election team on the panel will be:

Senator Jonathon Duniam, Liberal senator for Tasmania
Julie Collins Labor MP, Member for Franklin
Senator Nick McKim, Tasmanian Greens

The coverage continues through to Sunday 2nd May with a special Election Edition of ABC News Sunday at 7pm, and on radio, Sabra Lane will host a special AM to further unpack the election results for Tasmania.
