Britney Spears: “I cried for two weeks”

Singer Britney Spears has taken to social media following the recent documentary Framing Britney Spears.

The doco produced by the New York Times examined attempted to end the court-approved conservatorship held by her father James ‘Jamie’ Spears, who controls her finances and manages her personal affairs.

Fans have vigilantly campaigned through social media to #FreeBritney with the singer wanting her temporary care manager, Jodi Montgomery, to be permanently installed to manage her personal affairs.

Britney Spears indicates she didn’t watch the doco, which aired in Australia on Nine, but it nonetheless left her in tears.
