Aussie Angourie Rice was guest of honour at Melbourne premiere last night.

Australian actress Angourie Rice was guest of honour at the Melbourne premiere of upcoming drama Mare of Easttown at Como Cinemas last night.

The miniseries sees Kate Winslet & Guy Pearce reunite from Mildred Pierce, with Winslet as a small-town Pennsylvania detective who investigates a local murder as life crumbles around her. Rice plays Siobhan Sheehan in the 7 part series.

Also in attendance were former Miss Universe Olivia Rogers, actor Olympia Valance & former AFL player Thomas Bellchambers, former Goggleboxers Adam Densten and Symon Lovett and AFL players Kyle Langford, Jordan Ridley, Harry Jones, Ned Cahill, Patrick Lipinski and AFLW’s Hannah Scott.

Mare of Easttown begins 12pm Monday on FOX Showcase and streams weekly on Binge.

    1. I watched ~20 minutes tonight. Bit slow to start and Kate Winslet’s American accent is weird (only because it’s really not what I’m used to) but it’s got promise.
