It was a hotly-anticipated drama finale but even in the USA demand for Mare of Easttown has triggered streaming outages.
HBO Max took to Twitter to advise:
We’re aware some customers may be experiencing issues streaming #HBOMax and appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this as quickly as possible.

No surprises that many viewers vented on social media.
Last week, HBO Max users also reported an outage. Users then had reported being unable to play anything once they logged onto HBO Max. “Can’t play title,” an error message explained. Total down time appeared to be between two and three hours, according to Down Detector and various social media dispatches.
Thankfully Mare of Easttown looked to play out successfully in Australia on Foxtel / Binge apps, but on the weekend demand for AFL football led to disruption to Kayo / Binge and Foxtel apps.
