Syndicated US talk show The Kelly Clarkson Show is set to replace The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2022.
Clarkson’s show currently airs at 2pm in the top three markets, New York, Los Angeles & Chicago, but will move to the 3pm slot, a lucrative time period that leads into local newscasts.
Variety reports Clarkson and DeGeneres shows may even swap time slots in some markets before DeGeneres’ concludes her run.
“The Kelly Clarkson Show is one of the most optimistic success stories in first-run syndication,” said Tracie Wilson, executive VP of NBCUniversal Syndication Studios. “It is a treasured part of NBCUniversal Syndication Studios offering and we are proud to partner with the NBC Owned Television Stations group to continue the show’s success. Kelly and our entire production team put their heart, intent and incredible passion into making a show that resonates with people of all ages, cultures and backgrounds. We’re working on some big plans for Season 3 and are looking forward to becoming the premier show in daytime for years to come.”
The Kelly Clarkson Show is yet to premiere in Australia.

I’ve seen a few KC clips on YT and found her to be very loud and talking over guests…a lot. Two of my biggest peeves.
Good for her. Wish an Australian network would pick her series up though. Still yet to see it here. Have watched online via YouTube and its quite decent.
At a guess the international music rights may be in play, same happened with the early seasons of Ellen.
Is it full episodes via YouTube? I’ve only ever seen clips.
Clips only.
It’s only clips but from what i’ve seen the interviews are fun and Kelly is a great host.
Drew Barrymore is on FOX Arena.
Yes Kelly should be too.
So she must start in July when Ellen finishes season 19.
I’d love this to be here.
