Renewed: Under Investigation

Nine has confirmed Liz Hayes current affairs series Under Investigation is proceeding with new episodes.

Just six episodes were produced in the show’s first outing, but following good ratings, new episodes are underway.

Each episode centred on a different case, with a table of experts seeking to solve crimes, and uncover new evidence. Shot at Carriageworks in Sydney, it included former homicide detective Gary Jubelin.

David Richardson, previously a Seven Reporter and Bureau Chief at Today Tonight, has joined as a Producer. Danielle Collis, who was a Producer’s Assistant, also becomes an Associate Producer on the series.

It’s not clear as yet if the show will return in 2021 or 2022.
