Ex-Drake & Josh star charged with attempted endangerment of a child & disseminating matter harmful to juveniles.
Jared Drake Bell, who played Drake in the tween sitcom Drake & Josh, has pleaded not guilty after being charged with attempted endangerment of a child and disseminating matter harmful to juveniles.
Bell, now 34, was taken into custody by Cleveland police. US media reports claim the allegations stem from a December 2017, internet chat with an underage person.
Drake & Josh aired on Nickelodeon from 2004 to 2007, and featured Bell and co-star Josh Peck as stepbrothers.
Bell is currently free on a $2,500 personal bond and agreed to have no contact with the alleged victim in the case.
In 2010 he was awarded the Big Kid Award at Nickelodeon’s Kid’s Choice Awards, held at the Sydney Entertainment Centre.
A pretrial hearing is scheduled for June 23rd.
