  1. Did 10 commission an Aussie version of The Masked Dancer or not?

It just aired in the UK and although most fans of TMS weren’t sure at first it won them over during the week (they aired the entire series over 7 nights in place of the cancelled BGT Finals week), with ratings growing and a healthy share. Could probably fill 3-4 weeks either in Q1 or Q2.

I think the crucial thing is having largely the same personnel involved – they just switched out singer Rita Ora for dancer Oti Mabuse. The US version, which Fox haven’t renewed (but not officially axed yet) only had Ken Jeong appear on both shows and was seen as an inferior product to TMS – no doubt suffering IMO from an almost completely different line up of hosts and judges.

  2. Please don’t bother filming it unless the clues you give are ones the public can possibly know. Last season they were so obscure that even one of the judges who was a veryclose friend of the contestant didn’t know!!! The clues need to be facts out in the public domain

  3. I was hoping that Urzila wouldn’t have been back for this season. Her reactions are the most forced among the judges, and the guesses even more implausible than Lindsay Lohan’s were (and truth be told, I’m bummed that they aren’t bringing Lohan back for this season either as the other judges are much too overbearing).

But what I found especially grating were the frequent jokes that Urzila brought to a family show. There’s a time and place for crude/vulgar humour, and this isn’t it.
