SBS on Demand: Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown

104 episodes from the late Anthony Bourdain, cooking in far-flung places.

All twelve seasons of international cooking series Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown, featuring the late Anthony Bourdain, will be available at SBS on Demand from tomorrow (episodes have screened at SBS Food).

That’s 104 episodes of the series which screened originally on CNN from 2013 – 2018.

Many of the destinations are off the beaten track, and while he made it to Indonesia, Bourdain didn’t shoot any episodes in Australia or NZ. Something we said?

The one-hour weekend lifestyle series follows the late world-renowned chef, bestselling author and Emmy winning television personality Anthony Bourdain as he travels the across the globe to uncover little-known areas of the world and celebrate diverse cultures by exploring food and dining rituals.

Known for his curiosity, candour, and acerbic wit, Bourdain takes viewers off the beaten path of tourist destinations – including some war-torn parts of the world – and meets with a variety of local citizens to offer a window into their lifestyles, and occasionally communes with an internationally lauded chef on his journeys.

Thursday, 1 July on SBS On Demand.
