For the first time in over a year, The Late Show With Stephen Colbert has aired live from New York’s Ed Sullivan Theater with a full audience.
400 audience members had to provide proof of full vaccination, though masks were optional.

It was glorious to see Colbert back performing in front of a live audience. And the expression of joy in Jon Batiste’s performance was amazing. Jon Stewart, we miss you. Colbert’s wife should be on it all of the time.
