Airdate: Diana’s Decades

Three part royal series Diana’s Decades begins on 10 next week.

The first episode is focussed on the 1970s to early 80s.

Nearly 25 years on from her tragic death, Diana, Princess of Wales continues to lead our news bulletins and conversations, both in Britain and around the world.

In this three-part series, Diana’s Decades takes a fresh approach to recounting her life and legacy, by looking at how she was shaped by the changing world around her and as a result transformed not just the monarchy but also society more widely as her legacy.

This episode charts Diana’s courtship with Prince Charles through to their wedding in 1981. We follow our shy fairy tale bride through the birth of Prince William and on her first international tour to Australia in 1983 where she wowed the adoring crowds.
