My sister and I still say that all the big decisions are made on the bus trip to Bowral.
Surprised how well I remember this. The giggly guy in the suit particularly. I wonder how 1993 Mick Molloy would react to 2021 Mick Molloy?
The comedy vox pops are a staple of the 90s. They had them on other shows like The Footy Show and Eric Bana Show Live. And let’s not forget the more earnest SBS classic cult series Vox Populi. I wonder if this is a format that could make a comeback. The vox pop concept doesn’t look outdated as a format, either the standard or comedy vox pop formats, so long as the presenters don’t cross the line into anything uncomfortable, insulting or offensive.
I mentioned Vox Populi though the series I intended to mention was Front Up.
