Tracy Grimshaw is marking 40 years at Nine, a stellar innings for someone who is still anchoring a ratings success in primetime.

Grimshaw started at Nine in 1981 when she joined National Nine News in Melbourne as a reporter.

In 1996, she became co-host of Today with Steve Liebmann, for nine years. It followed her co-hosting Midday with David Reyne.

Since 2006 she has presented A Current Affair.

  1. A great achievement, and a formidable interviewer when she turns her hand to a weighty subject or politician. Congratulations on 40 years – that is many lifetimes in broadcasting!!
