MasterChef plots two-night finale

Masterchef wraps up over two nights on July 12 and 13.

It will be a marathon grand final for MasterChef Australia fans this year clocking in at a total of 3 hours and 40 minutes.

10 is splitting the Grand Final over two nights, just as Ninja Warrior is doing next week.

It begins with three finalists, which suggests one of them may not make it to the second part.

7:30pm Monday July 12 (1hr 30 mins)
It’s here, the MasterChef Australia Grand Finale for 2021. Our three finalists face an incredible three round challenge over two days with a total of 140 points up for grabs.

From there 10 could segue to Australian Survivor / The Bachelor as its main offering but that’s yet to be confirmed.

  1. MasterChef is becoming a little boring . You can always tell who will be safe in the challenge as whoever comes to the tasting table first is safe.. I wish they would mix it up a little.

    1. Agree it needs an overhaul. Being restricted by Covid has a lot to do with it, how I miss those episodes set in Italy, Paris etc, but they could have exploited the local area a lot more. Nothing from Gippsland, Mornington Peninsula or even Daylesford. I know those places have been done before, but you never tire of those areas. They needed to get out of the studio where things are so predictable.

    2. I actually don’t mind this as through the cook it is usually pretty obvious who is doing really well so for me I’m glad they get the obvious safe one out of the way first otherwise it feels like false suspense like they use to do on MKR when they would try to make out someone who clearly did badly was in with a chance.

  2. Seriously hasn’t this season been long enough it feels like this season has been going on for like 3 months it’s draining

  3. Did it really need to be so long?

I think Survivor’s coming first…10 hasn’t released many ads for Bachelor yet (or revealed any contestants) like they normally do.
