NBA Finals: Bucks v Suns

Phoenix Suns & Milwaukee Bucks are looking to end a long Championship drought.

ESPN screens the NBA Finals from today, when the Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns go head-to-head for the prestigious Larry O’Brien trophy.

Both the Suns and Bucks are looking to end a long Championship drought for their respective franchises.

Phoenix have never won the NBA Championship, and have not been to the NBA Finals for 28 years. 1976 and 1993 are the only times the Suns have previously reached this point of the season.

The Suns have claimed some impressive scalps on their way to the finals, eliminating the defending champion Los Angeles Lakers, Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Clippers.

Commentary for each game will be Mike Breen, Jeff Van Gundy, Mark Jackson, Doris Burke and Rachel Nichols.

After 16 seasons in the NBA, Phoenix Suns point guard and multiple NBA All-Star Chris Paul will finally get his first shot at a championship ring, when he leads his side into battle in the first to four wins format, stretching to a maximum seven-game series.

Paul will have lights-out scorer Devin Booker and towering forward Deandre Ayton ready to fire for the Suns, while the Bucks will rely on Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday while they wait on the injury status of NBA superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo to begin the series.
