As previously tipped, First Dates is headed to 10.
“Every new relationship starts with that very first date. And a new season of First Dates is casting right now. No competition, no eliminations – just a blind date that could be the start of own happily ever after,” it announced.
The show is open to singles of all ages, ethnicity and sexual orientation.
The show last appeared on Seven in March 2020 but after 4 seasons was not renewed for 2021.
Applications close on November 1st and you can apply here.

This is the only dating show I can stand, so I welcome this news lol.
Never seen First Dates, but I’ll be interested to see how this compares to The Bachelor/Bachelorette.
Ohhh it’s nothing like those 2 shows, it’s actually entertaining
Please apply only if vaccinated? Will be a challenging production with covid but there will be plenty of empty restaurants with their hands up for the location. If they can shoot this in a pandemic, they can shoot anything!
Now we just need a local version of Naked Attraction. Come on SBS!
You know, this show early on was good fun to watch but then it got kind of repetitive and boring after that and they brought in these z-list celebrities and it was kind of cringe. Don’t know how it will work exactly though given Australia’s current covid situation but guess we will have to wait and see. Revamped series can do well though and might suit 10s demographics more.
Well it’s says applications close November 1st, so by that time assuming they were filming the next day (but realistically weeks later after applications close) Australia “should” be in a better position.
This is always great for a laugh. Thanks Network 10!
this show can be really funny but do we need more dating shows?
