Nine has teased its upcoming season of Love Island.
To the sounds of Men At Work’s Down Under, host Sophie Monk appears as a mermaid inviting sexy singles to a tropical villa in Port Douglas.
The ITV Studios series is due to screen later this year.
Update: now due to film in Northern NSW.

Am I the only one completely baffled by this promo?…
I don’t think it’s baffling at all. They are pushing the fact that it’s filmed in Australia, and will be very appealing to a UK audience. Sophie Monk is as bad as ever though.
Very valid point. I guess just comparing it to the usual sort of promos I would expect for this sort of reality show.
