The Voice soars in Seven ratings week

All three episodes of The Voice averaged over a million metro viewers last week -a record for 2021. 

Seven may have won another week with some a final Olympics contribution from the Closing Ceremony, but there’s no denying the brilliant launch by The Voice which powered its success.

All three episodes averaged over a million metro viewers -a record for a 2021 series.

Seven was also bolstered by its dramas Home & Away and RFDS -can we say halo effect?

Seven won the demos 16-39 and 25-54.

Seven led every night of the week. ABC bettered 10 on Friday. Both tied on Saturday.

Seven also won in every city.

10: Australian Survivor (Tues: 664,000), Have You Been Paying Attention? (604,000), The Project (7pm: 498,000) and 10 News First (414,000).

ABC: ABC News (724,000), 7:30 (595,000), Australian Story (565,000) and Mad as Hell (528,000).

SBS: Inside Windsor Castle (196,000), Who Do You Think You Are? (189,000), Secret Scotland and SBS World News (both 181,000).
