Without NSW daily updates, SBS drops Arabic COVID info.
SBS forced to drop daily press conferences in Arabic -replaced with news from Spain.

The NSW Government officially ended daily COVID press conferences yesterday, but held one today nevertheless.
The Berejiklian government plans to hold these as required, replaced otherwise with video announcements.
Given this, SBS has now issued a programming amendment which unfortunately means NSW Coronavirus Update in Arabic will no longer run every morning.
It has been replaced by Spanish News from RTVE Madrid at 11am daily.
Not convinced this is the best outcome given the current state of play….

It wasn’t just Arabic. SBS had translations in nine languages via their Facebook pages.
Just reporting broadcast info as advised.
