Better Homes and Gardens kicks off Summer with a “Crackers about Christmas” special on Friday.
Landscape designer Charlie Albone and his wife, interior decorator Juliet Love, host their fellow New South Wales presenters at their home on the Central Coast, while Adam Dovile, Karen Martini and Melissa King come together at the Melbourne Botanic Gardens.
Segments include:
- Johanna Griggs visits country singer and former The X Factor finalist Jason Owens and his partner Becy who run Doin It For Rural Aussie Kids, a charity which provides toys, groceries and funds to regional children in the lead up to Christmas each year.
- Dr Harry shares tips on how to help pets overcome their anxiety about new surroundings and people through the festive season.
- Fast Ed explores an Aussie cherry farm before making triple cherry ice-cream and waffle cones.
- Adam and Melissa turn a neglected courtyard into the perfect space for Christmas entertaining.
- Karen takes on a classic Christmas trifle with a twist, creating mini tropical trifles served with ricotta.
- Graham Ross shares some smart ideas on how to make mini gardens for small spaces.
- Charlie designs an easy-to-maintain garden bed to increase any home’s street appeal.
