UK comedy Ghosts set for 4th season

UK comedy Ghosts is getting a 4th season, at least according to one cast member who has spoke out of turn…

Katy Wix, who plays Mary in the sitcom, confirmed the news in the podcast Distraction Pieces, when asked what she was working on next.

Ghosts. Am I allowed to say that? I’m always getting into trouble. I get into trouble all the time for announcing things when they haven’t been announced. That starts in January,” she replied.

Sure enough the show has yet to be formally announced by the BBC.

The cast have already a made a Christmas special featuring Jennifer Saunders as the mother of Martha Howe-Douglas’s character, Lady Fanny Button. The plot revolves around Button House owners Mike and Alison (Charlotte Ritchie and Kiell Smith-Bynoe) discovering a man living in a tent on their grounds.

Ghosts screens in Australia on ABC TV Plus while the US remake is on Paramount+.
