Fulltime and Casual staff at Foxtel and SKY News will need to be fully vaccinated to enter workplaces in 2022, following a decision from News Corp.
Only staff with a medical or reasonable exemption will be able to avoid the directive issued by Chief People Officer, Ruth Allen.
Although Media is designated as an Essential Service, vaccination has been a requirement for the safety of Essential and Consumer-Facing roles to enter a Foxtel Group campus in NSW or Victoria.
“Our full return to campus, in a hybrid-blend of working, is currently scheduled to begin for most people from 31st January 2022. The exact timing and policies for return to campus will be determined based on local conditions, health advice, and risk assessments as we get closer to the date,” a Foxtel spokesperson advised.
SKY News also confirmed it will follow News Corp directives for staff entering buildings in 2022.
