FOX Cricket begins coverage of the Big Bash League when the Sydney Sixers will look to defend their 2020/21 title against the Melbourne Stars this Sunday night.

T20 World Cup winning captain Aaron Finch and Melbourne Stars captain Glenn Maxwell join the commentary team, along with WBBL‘s Alyssa Healy.

“BBL|11 is going to be the most exciting tournament we’ve ever seen – coming off the back of the Aussies’ T20 World Cup win, interest has never been greater in the shortest format,” said commentator, Brett Lee.

“I can’t wait to watch Maxxy and Stoin go big for the Stars and my boys at the Sixers aim to achieve the three-peat.”

Former all-rounder Andrew Symonds said, “I’m looking forward to seeing the Heat hopefully put some good off-season ideas into action and have a successful summer.

“Chris Lynn is a key part of their set-up – he needs to have a good start to the season for them to have a chance at finals.”
