Not all the celebs head into the ‘jungle’ on Day 1

Stars will enter across at least the first 3 days of next 10 series.

Celebrities will be entering 10’s ‘jungle’ across at least the first three days of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here according to a new promo.

Here’s how the first week is shaping up….

Mon Jan 3
Tonight, on the season eight premiere of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, 10 unsuspecting celebrities filled with bravado and nerves, voluntarily unplug from everyday life to put themselves to the ultimate
test in the Aussie ‘jungle’. With all matter of local wildlife and no-frills outdoor living looking to test
even the most courageous of celebrities, their time in the camp will not be without its challenges. Hosts Dr Chris Brown and Julia Morris are at the ready to spring a Tucker Trial, a Secret Mission or create some plain old mischief for the fresh new crop of celebrities, all without a moment’s notice. Think you know everything about these celebrities? Think again! There’s nothing like a jungle experience to reveal a whole new side to your favourite stars.

Tues Jan 4
It is day two in the jungle and after the excitement and novelty of entering the camp, the newfound reality is starting to slowly sink in for our celebrities, with noisy sleepers, cold showers, rice and beans and a long and short drop on offer in their new digs. But the campmates don’t have time to wallow in their camp beds, as Chris and Julia arrive in camp to whisk two celebrities away for an insect- infested Hell Hotel Trial. With stars up for grabs, and Aussie tucker as their reward, their eyes are definitely on the tasty prize. But will the celebrities overcome their fears to feed the camp?

Wed Jan 5
A few days in and the caffeine withdrawals are starting to set in. No silk pyjamas or feather doonas for our motley crew of campmates, just the open sky above their heads and bugs in their beds. As they deal with their new surroundings and makeshift family, the celebrities are starting to bond, opening up and sharing personal stories
about themselves and their careers. But before they get too comfortable, Chris and Julia give one unlucky celebrity the chilling news, they must compete alone in a heart stopping trial that will freeze them to their
bones. Will the results of this trial put them on thin ice with their fellow campmates?

Thu Jan 6
As the celebrities complain about their bland and watery breakfast, they soon learn they should be thankful for what they have, as the first Tucker Trial of the season is upon them. Three celebrities are invited to dine at the La Cocharacha Cantina, where they will feast on delicious Mexican inspired jungle delights of Te- squeala, Quack-a-dil, Stench-ilada and Marga-feeta. Will the celebrities stomach their tummy churning meal or will their ‘grub’ end up in the bin? Is one celebrity’s charade finally over when an inquisitive celebrity starts asking questions?

Begins 7:30pm Monday on 10.

  1. I’m probably going to give this year’s season a miss, although I will watch again when it returns back to a live show. Hopefully that’ll mean that they can return back to their longer 45 day season, they’ll bring back iconic trials like The World’s End or Dam Busters and that celebrity chest challenges will be back. Over the past few years, you can’t deny that the show’s lost so many parts of what made it so enjoyable to watch…

  2. Sadly this sounds like a way to pad out already ultra-slow television even more so that we get longer and longer back stories on the celebrities (or at least information so that we are not sitting there screaming at the television, “Well, who are you?!”) My rate of identification pre-program for these shows seems to be about 30% at best.

    1. It’s only on for four weeks almost, so can’t be padded out too much, survivor starts end of Jan. episodes will be the same as last year I guess. On for 2 hrs the first few ups of the week and then 90 min maybe wed and thu.
