Nine has released its promo for Married at First Sight which returns in late January.
Relationship experts John Aiken and Mel Schilling, and clinical sexologist Alessandra Rampolla return to match up the next batch of singles in TV marriages.
These brave couples will face the most nerve-racking time of their lives, meeting each other for the first time at the altar on their wedding day as they become immersed in a rollercoaster experiment to make their marriage a success.
Living under the same roof, every bride and groom must cope with the intensity of a real-life relationship cycle, baring all for millions of TV viewers as the experiment becomes the pressure cooker of love.
In season nine there is even more heart-pounding romance and highly addictive drama, when the experiment is rocked by scandal in an explosive Married at First Sight first, leaving the experts gobsmacked and facing a potential walk out by many of the participants.
Also this season, the popular Home Stays week returns, along with Alessandra’s Intimacy week, Confessions week, and the revealing Couples Retreat where all our brides and grooms go away together – making sparks fly in more ways than one.
Couples will have the chance to compare the highs and lows of their relationship at the explosive Dinner Parties, and seek guidance from the experts at the weekly Commitment Ceremonies, where secrets are revealed and bombshells dropped. Who will choose to stay? And who will decide to leave?
Television’s biggest and most polarising show is turning up the love meter in a new season that’s guaranteed to be the talk on everyone’s lips.
Married at First Sight is produced by Endemol Shine Australia for Channel 9.
January 31, at 7.30pm on Nine.

I love the promos for MAFS. They make it look like an expensive perfume commercial yet they are really selling mould remover from a 90’s morning show. Interestingly the mould keeps appearing…
That’s so funny!
Unless you look closely, it seems like that promo is promoting a New Year’s Eve premiere date.
Are Jess & Matt supposed to be unrecognizable extras?
This is such a guilty pleasure of mine! I say to myself every year that I will never watch this show again, but I come back to it, year after year after year! No wonder the show gets over one million views each episode, every year!
Here we go again. As much as I don’t like this show and I’m going to regent this is i don’t know why over a million people watching this show?
