Ratings grand slam for Nine

Massive figures with Ash Barty & 'Special K' matches ensured Nine doubled Seven and tripled 10 last week.

The Australian Open delivered a massive week of summer audiences for Nine last week with Ash Barty’s match with a huge 2.58m metro viewers.

It rose to 2.84m for the Presentation with tennis legend Evonne Goolagong Cawley. The Men’s Doubles Finals drew another 1.73m.

Adding in Regional viewers those numbers rose to 3.58m / 3.87m / 2.3m.

Nine was reaching for the record books as it triumphed with a staggering 68.1% share on Saturday, sending rivals plummeting to dire lows.

The top entertainment show of the week was I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here with 625,000 viewers on Monday.

Nine led every night of the week. ABC bettered 10 on Friday & Saturday.

Nine led in all cities except Perth, always loyal to Seven.
